Born and raised in Brooklyn NY, Deja went to a performing arts high school where she majored as a vocalist, studying classical and opera music as a soprano singer. After graduating, she jumped into the fashion industry where she was scouted. Deja started the model development program and attended IMTA where she won for her division. She started studying at the original Sanford Meisner studio after she was offered a co-starring role on a BET anthology series. She loves painting acrylic and abstract art for therapeutic reasons, yet it turned into a craft that she hopes to pursue professionally.
