May Model of the month - Jeffrey J!
Meet the incredible Jeffrey J.! He’s already making waves as a comedy writer, actor, and director, and we couldn’t be more excited to have him on this journey with us.
1. Where are you from?
Born and raised in West Bloomfield, Michigan (suburbs of Detroit)! Go Blue!
2. What are you into… studies, hobbies, special skills, etc.?
I love to hike, camp, surf. Every summer I go on a long cross country road trip with my dog where we sleep in the jeep under the stars and climb mountains together. I’m really into film photography too.
3. Dreams/goals, anything else of interest (any fit dream clients)?
I’m working on getting my tv and film scripts made at the moment. Ideally I’m the next Julia Louis-Dreyfus from Seinfeld (joke), but if that’s not possible, I’d love to create and star in a show like Veep, just making funny stuff up and laughing every day on set with my friends. Ideally, I can find a way to get my family in the show, too! I’m also planning to publish a book of my nature photography, too. It would be so great to work on a modeling or commercial campaign that somehow fuses fitness and nature and shoots at some breathtaking landscape. It would be great to combine my interest in seeing the world’s nature with modeling.
4. Fit/modeling career highlights?
A modeling highlight was definitely spending a day shooting in the pool with Iggy Azalea for her last album cover. I wore a suit jacket and trousers in the water the whole time. It was awesome having people send me pictures of the vinyl all over the country. Totally worth my post shoot shriveled pruney hands haha!
5. How did you get into fit modeling?
I was introduced to Jessica from Bicoastal when I lived in Los Angeles and we totally hit it off! She’s the best. That’s how I got into fit! I run every day, so I’d love to work with Nike and Lululemon. I’d also love to work with Patagonia, Skims, Rag & Bone, and Polo RL.
